Wheesung enlists in the army on 7th at Nonsan Military Training Center in Chungnam. As usual, he will undergo 5 weeks of basic training before serving as a serviceman for the remaining 23 months.
As he enters the camp, WheeSung mentioned to his fans who sent his off, "Having military service is like having the opportunity to live a second life. Please wait for another 2 years. I will return with better music with love."
He also added, "I am close to Sunny. I am hoping to see Girls' Generation. It will be very happy if they come over and see me at least once and i will return the favor sometimes."
Also, along with his fans, Tae Jinah and Kim Taewoo who did a performance with him on 5th an 6th were there to send him off.
